SYNOPSIS:
10 years old Jiale escapes to a fantasy world to fulfill his longing for his lost mother. His father, also struggling with the loss, awkwardly tries to play a more maternal role but is frustrated with his reclusive son. Jiale’s unusual behavior gets him teased at school and causes him to become even more introverted and distant. His father, confused and desperate, keeps bungling ways to reach out to his son. A confrontation and a clumsy accident suddenly cause the father and son to view each other in a new light and form stronger bond than ever. 三角裤, My Underwear My World is a comic, colorful glimpse into a family finding their way back to each other.
Intensively making films and being involved in filmmaking for the past two years, Danny has worked on many different type of projects including Short Films, TVC, Music Video and Documentary of which some have gain recognition at various competitions. Danny loves to explore the society and culture, then sharing it through his films. Out of his works, he has done a documentary in the heights of China, Tibet about the conservation of the Tibetan Mastiffs.
The universal theme of family love in the film has been given a familiar yet fresh local touch. Through this film, Danny hopes to bring smiles and warm hearts to his audiences both locally and internationally.
My Underwear My World will be shot in December 2008, expected to be ready for the screens in April 2009 .
